Beyond the easy path lies the uphill trail—a vital journey from human domination to ecological coexistence, where we embrace a biocentric ethic that honors and sustains the living planet.

Our Mission

Incline Conservation aims to reshape conservation by telling the truth, cutting through misinformation, and driving action. Drawing on ‘lessons learned’ from over a century of research on natural and policy experiments in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, we will craft a global benchmark to guide how humanity can adapt and coexist with the millions of other species that share this planet.

Our Goals

At Incline Conservation, our goal is to pioneer a new culture of conservation—one rooted in truth, evidence, and trust. In an era of rampant misinformation, we are committed to countering false narratives with fact-based, accessible communication that unites rather than divides. Through innovative, apolitical outreach and problem-solving education, we aim to empower individuals and communities to take meaningful, sustained action. Utilizing my own 37 years of (YERC) research along with 1000 years of combined research in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, we will share stories that resonate far beyond its borders, fostering collaboration, coexistence, and a shared ethic of responsibility for life on Earth.
